With all the pardons annulled, and the postponement of elections, the minimum requirements have been met for the organization of fair and democratic elections, said the spokesman for the SDSM, Petre Shilegov in Parliament today.
“We believe that it is time to start negotiations about conditions so that fair and democratic elections can be organized by autumn. If we start today, and even if we have the minimum political will, there is no reason why conditions cannot be created for credible elections for October”, said Shilegov.
MP from the DUI party, Rafis Aliti believes that for fair elections, firstly the political environment in the country needs to be adapted.
“I believe that the Leaders’ Meeting should be organized as it is in the interest of the citizens, as for fair elections, we must first create a political environment”, said Aliti.
