Shekerinska: VMRO-DPMNE wants to block negotiations, but it will not work

-

“VMRO-DPMNE are repeating their the old tactics, and wants to block negotiations with their constant delays and requests for consultations, breaks, returning to issues that have long been sorted just so negotiations enter a standstill. It will not work this time, tomorrow there must be an agreement on the electoral law”, said Vice-President of SDSM Ramila Shekerinska, during her visit to Negotino.

“Over the last few days, negotiations on the new electoral regulations SDSM has proposed an increase quota of 40 percent for women, both sexes, and on all candidate lists. This means that this proposal that was proposed by the Macedonian Women’s Lobby, during these negotiations will support and will ask Macedonia for women to receive their rightful place”, Shekerinska said.

Today in Negotino, SDSM started to be implement their tribunals across the country over the next five weeks, where citizens can submit proposals for their program “The Vision for Macedonia”.

“We’ll talk about the problems that plague our citizens, we will talk about our solutions, but will offer a chance for all citizens, NGOs, associations, stakeholders to express their proposals, and what they want from the next Government in power. At the end of this process, we will have a program that will not only be responsible to the members and supporters of the opposition and SDSM, but it will be a program able to restore the middle class”, said Ms Shekerinska
