Several people have been arrested tonight in a police operation as protesters ransacked the building of the Public Office of the President Gjorge Ivanov.

According to an unofficial source, there have been several people injured, and ambulances have been constantly heard and seen throughout the city centre.

For the present moment, the situation is calm, and protesters have been prevented gaining access to the Public Office of the President, Ministry of Justice and the headquarters of the VMRO-DPMNE.

Earlier in the evening, special police forces formed a cordon to prevent access to certain areas, and to disperse demonstrators protesting in the city centre.
