Sela: All previous proposals for the use of Albanian language are unacceptable for us

-

The proposals from SDSM for the use of the Albanian language, which were discussed by the general public, are unacceptable for Zijadin Sela. The president of the Reform Movement of DPA didn’t want to reveal what were these proposals about, adding that his party remains with the stance for the complete officialization of the Albanian language.

“We firmly stand by our position, that we will not allow for anyone to play with our language, to take the current law and to change its articles. We need a law that will be in accordance with the Constitution. Since the Constitution allows the use of the Albanian language at all of the state’s institutions, we are proposing a law that will officialize the Albanian language in all state institutions. I don’t know who made the proposals, but these proposals that were discussed by the general public, are unacceptable for us”, said Sela, before the start of the meeting of the Central Presidency of the Reform Movement of DPA.
