We are absolutely far from any concrete discussions on specific issues, especially far from the divisions of departments, said Deputy President of SDSM, Radmila Šekerinska after meeting with representatives from D UI at the “Holiday Inn” hotel in Skopje.
She stated that at the meeting the current situation after the decision by President Gjorge Ivanov not to award the mandate to the second parliamentary party was discussed and announced that meetings and talks with DUI will continue.
“We believe that these meetings and discussions will continue, discussions are taking place in both political parties, but we believe that our goal is mutual. For Macedonia to get out of this political crisis as soon, as soon possible to form a government that is committed to reforms, a better life for all citizens of Macedonia and the chance for everyone to secure a real existence in their homeland. We will discuss all these issues next time. You are aware that this was not a long meeting. The meetings will continue when discussions are complete within the two political parties”, said Šekerinska .
Vice President of DUI, Tueta Arifi, said that they had a constructive discussion meeting with the representatives from SDSM, but the Presidency of DUI will have the last word.
