SEHA League penalizes Metalurg for missed match with Zagreb

Because of the absence from the away match with Zagreb, SEHA League penalized Macedonian handball champion Metalurg with an official defeat, deprivation of one point and with a fine of 2,000 euros. The team from Avtokomanda should also reimburse the costs of Zagreb for the organization of the match.

The match Zagreb – Metalurg was scheduled for 5th of November, but, due to the boycott, the players refused to travel to Zagreb and the match was not played.

On 22nd of November, Metalurg will have a match with Spanish La Rioja in Handball Champions League, and its next match in SEHA League is scheduled for 10th of December against Vardar.
