SEC has dismissed two complaints made by SDSM over irregularities before voting

-

The State Election Commission has dismissed the two complaints made by the SDSM regarding polling stations 2010 and 2025 which were located in the sixth election unit in Tearce.

The complaints regarding these polling stations concerned rewritten transcripts, and the discrepancy between the numbers of voters to the number of votes.

SEC member from the SDSM, Igor Milev stated that the records and transcripts from polling station 2025 are invalid.

“If only we counted the ballots at this polling station or if we inspected the election material. At this polling place, like the previous one, 2010, we are talking about re written reports with the signature and seal of the president of the electoral board. This only concludes that the election material should be inspected because it will leave a stain on the entire electoral process”, stressed Milev.

During the session, in front of the SEC, citizens gathered and chanted “Macedonia”, and “thieves” sirens were then heard, and a strong police presence surrounded the building.

The SDSM submitted eight complaints to the SEC concerning the course of voting and the procedure for identifying and the gathering of ballots from the early parliamentary elections on December 11.
