The Government of Nikola Gruevski is scared of the loud “no” for the so-called state exam and therefore it decided to promote it on Sunday, wrapped in a bunch of hasty educational changes, for which, a new state exam will be needed within a month, reads the written response of SDSM on today’s press conference of the Minister of Education and Science Abdilakim Ademi and his deputy Spiro Ristovski, on which, both of them announced the set of laws on higher education which were yesterday adopted by the Government.
– The violence of the Government against the position of 10,000 students conducted in moments when, one by one, the faculties reject the Government’s proposal for “state exam” is a classic proof of the immature and egotistical Government with which the citizens in Macedonia have to deal – said representatives of SDSM.
According to the largest opposition party, the draft legal decisions of the Ministry of Education and Science are “capitulation of the eight-year faulty government policies that brought education to the brink of disaster.”
– The decision is an omen for the end of this Government. And nobody will stop the voice of the public – reads the response of SDSM.
