The texts published by portals “Republika”, “Kurir” and other media outlets which have shared these stories are lies, such as alleged changes to the national flag and anthem, certain ethnic groups being condemned for genocide, and changes to the language which are contrary to the Constitution, says a statement released by SDSM.
The statement adds that “all these lies are an attempt to fuel national hatred between Macedonians, Albanians, Serbs and Turks”.
“A large majority of citizens, over 612,000 Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Serbs, Vlachs and Roma stood side by side because of their strong commitment for life, justice, change and unity in Macedonia. Therefore, the citizens are a major factor of the stability in Macedonia. The criminal government has gone through ‘de-factorization’”, says the statement from SDSM.
It also adds that “talks on securing a parliamentary majority are solely based on the Constitution of Macedonia”.
“All those who are scared of changes which will consume their personal privileges will bear the responsibility for crimes against the people. The people do not want to live in this kind of Macedonia. Hence all the fake news and media fabrications made up by the criminal leadership of VMRO-DPMNE”, say SDSM.
