SDSM have still not secured the signatures of 61 MPs, Zaev and Ahmeti have not yet met

-

The leaders of SDSM and DUI, Zoran Zaev and Ali Ahmeti, have not yet met, but there has been contact between the two parties, said Vice President of SDSM, Damjan Manchevski.

“Yes, there has been contact, on another level. It is correct that the two leaders have not met, except the public meeting which the public was informed about”, said Manchevski, when asked whether there had been a meeting between Zaev and Ahmeti.

He confirmed that they still have not secured the signatures of 61 MPs.

“The process is ongoing, we are working on gathering them, and immediately on forming a new government. The public will be informed immediately when there are any new events regarding this issue”, said Manchevski.

When asked whether DUI really asked for the position of Prime Minister, Manchevski denied it.

“No. All that information is speculation, there is absolutely no new details from what was announced yesterday”, said Manchevski.
