“The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) with great concern, received the news that the management from TV “Telma” has decided to make 12 employees redundant”, said a statement by the SDSM.
The statement added that “the management of a television station which is a well-respected medium, will have to explain the reason for this decision.”
Especially because the journalists who will be laid off are professional journalists who have demonstrated years of hard work.
“We appeal to TV Telma’s management to reconsider their decision and to consider all opportunities available to them, and to take the appropriate measures that will be in the interest of their journalists, and to protect the rights of their employees”, the statement also said.
The solution, which according to them, will not affect the quality of the program content of the television station and media that the citizens have come to expect.
