“We expect and believe that the President will honour his constitutional obligations and will enable the realization of the rule of law. We still expect an answer to the question we have asked the President, regarding where and how Ivanov acquired information on our confidential cases”, said Lenche Ristovksa, spokeswoman, and prosecutor at the Special Prosecutor’s Office.
She noted that investigations and preliminary procedures are still ongoing.
“The public knows that we have opened seven investigations involving 60 people. Preliminary procedures and investigations are continuously growing, and we are now focused on financial investigations that require a little more time to collect all the data needed. With this we want to demonstrate that crime is not an activity that pays off and that apart from criminal liability, those responsible will have to face material responsibility as well”, says Ristovska.
