Special Prosecutor Lence Ristoska expressed her satisfaction with the verdict for the former Head of the Administration of Security and Counterintelligence, Goran Grujovski, and six officers at UBK, who were convicted of destroying and unlawfully burning thousands of documents in the “Fortress 2” case, as well as for forging official documents.
“Today, the SPO got its first verdict. The defendants were convicted, and this ruling was in accordance with our expectations. We are pleased, but we will wait for the verdict and will consider the arguments from the court, and then we will decide whether to appeal”, said Ristoska.
According to her, this verdict sends a message to officials who carry out orders, that they will not be given amnesty.
