Record number of patients – 12, died in the last 24 hours of COVID-19, 132 newly diagnosed cases in the same period

The Health Ministry informed that in the last 24 hours, 868 tests were conducted, and 132 new cases of COVID-19 were registered. Most of them were registered in Skopje -57, and Tetovo -19. The Institute for Public Health registered 112 recovered patients, and a record number of 12 patients have died in a single day – five patients from Skopje, one from Štip, two from Tetovo, two from Struga, one from Veles and one patient from Gostivar. The youngest deceased patient was aged 49 while the oldest was 83

The total number of people diagnosed with COVID -19 since the outbreak of the epidemic is 6.209, and the number of recovered patients in 2.427. The death toll is 298 and at the moment the number of active cases is 3.484.
