“Putsch” has been sitting on Katica Janeva’s desk for a whole week

Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva, received the material on the case “Putsch” from the Prosecutor who was lead Prosecution’s case and now it’s in her jurisdiction, reported Defense Lawyer Angele Ilievski. for “Meta”.

According to Mr Ilievski, he and his colleagues, as defense lawyers, have not yet received an official notification from the Special Prosecutor, even though Ms Janeva received the “Putsch” case over a week ago.

“After being sworn in, the Special Prosecutor is now responsible for everything concerning the prosecution’s work on the “Putsch” case. She already received everything surrounding the “Putsch” case about a week ago”, said Defense Attorney Ilievski.

According to him, Ms Janeva, among other things, will now have to clarify the imprisonment of Zoran Verushevski and Georgi Lazarevski, or apply to the court for an ending, or a replacement with a more lenient sentence or again, the re-opening of certain cases. The same applies to the measures that are specific to other defendants as well.
