Opposition preparing for a chaos in the streets of Skopje or, perhaps, attempt of the Government through pro-government media to demotivate and frightened citizens who plan to be part of a big protest gathering scheduled for Sunday, 17th of May.
Some portals and pro-government media has gone far and frequently write and broadcast reports in which cite “their” or sources of reportedly disgruntled members of opposition parties that SDSM is getting ready for a full urban war on Sunday.
As part of the preparations of the opposition, these media mention:
- Mobilization of criminals and former prisoners who have a thick police record;
- Preparation of cold weapons and stones for part of the protesters who at one point should separate from the group and attack the police;
- Part of them were ordered to break store windows and attack state institutions and their forceful takover;
- Possibility for part of protesters to receive firepower which would be used if the protest is not intense;
- They indicates that SDSM and Zoran Zaev were part of the scenario with the terrorist group in Kumanovo, so the support of Albanian militant groups is expected;
- 1,000 to 2,000 head masks (hoods) were obtained;
- Violence in Chair, Gjorche Petrov, Gazi Baba, as well as in shopping malls in the nation’s capital;
- It is planned for demonstrators to forcibly enter the government;
- Threats to some media and demolition of their premises;
- Engaging people from abroad with great experience of initiating violent protests;
- Ukrainian scenario.
