This afternoon, VMRO-DPMNE held a protest in front of the prison in Shuto Orizari demanding freedom for the detained MPs including others, against whom the Basic Public Prosecution for fighting organized crime and corruption began an investigation for terrorism due to the violent attacks at the Parliament on the 27th of April.
‘We gathered today to give support and to encourage them that we are with them and that we shall not leave them alone and that the truth will win in the end. We appeal that all detainees to be let as they have nowhere to run, as we cannot work without them at the Parliament. Let’s sit and talk on the table from all political parties – said this party’s MP, Trajcho Dimkov.
Dafina Stojanoska said that as one of the VMRO-DPMNE’s MPs she demands the political prosecution to stop immediately.
-We call upon the people who have come up with this to stop writing blacklists for Macedonian patriots. You persistently push this nation into conflicts. Think of the future generations. VMRO-DPMNE has proven and will prove that it is for a prosperous and European Macedonia – said Stojanovska.
The protest was attended by VMRO-DPMNE’s party leader, Nikola Gruevski.
