Federica Mogherini, the High Commissioner for Foreign Policy and Security of the European Union, is expected to arrive in Macedonia early next month to meet with government and political leaders of the country, while on her Balkan tour.
She is not a favorite of the party and supporters of Nikola Gruevski, and before she has even arrived, she is being insulted with bad language, which is far from the usual journalistic language for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
In three consecutive journalistic texts, pro-government columnist, Mirka Velinovska (“Dnevnik” 9th, 16th and 23rd of February, 2017) called Mogerini a “fascistic-Sorosoid bimbo” who “rambles on about inviolable individual rights that are holy to the EU but because she is also a Sorosoid, so by default it means she is brainwashed” and today it was openly said that, “Ivanov and Gruevski (and definitely Popovski) should give Mogherini a ban from entering the country with an unambiguous “undiplomatic” content: Until you honour the Republic of Macedonia, the Macedonian nation, language and culture, do not come here … ”
