Prosecutors want to indict and institute an investigation against the new seven people suspected of involvement in the events of the 9th and 10th of May this year in Kumanovo Divo Naselje for organized crime and corruption said the public prosecutor.
In a written statement from the prosecutor’s office it does not indicate whether they were today arrested in the police operation of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), but probably those are the same people.
The Prosecution informed that the judge of the preliminary procedure was a proposal of the seven suspects to be detained and held on remand.
“Based on the analysis of the evidence collected so far by the investigation into the events of the 9th and 10th of May in Kumanovo in the settlement of Divo Naselje, the prosecutor from the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption, issued an order for an investigation of seven Macedonian citizens. The suspects, who are accused of crimes such as collaborating with terrorist organizations and terrorism, are brought before a judge from the previous procedure. The assigned Public Prosecutor to the case for the preliminary procedure submitted a proposal for the suspects to be detained on remand”, said the brief statement of the prosecution.
Ivo Kotevski, Assistant Minister for Public Relations told “Meta” this morning that they had conducted an extensive police operation to arrest collaborators and supporters of the criminal-terrorist group in Divo Naselje.
