The Judge from the prior procedure ordered that five out of the seven suspects that were arrested yesterday in the police operation “Molnja” were to be detained on remand for 30 days and the other two – house arrest, said the Basic Court Skopje 1 yesterday afternoon.
The suspects are accused of aiding terrorist organizations and terrorism, and one of them for the illegal manufacture, possession and sale of explosives.
“The judge from the preliminary procedure after reviewing the facts and the evidence provided in the proposal of the prosecution to determine security measures and questioning detainees, found that the requirements arising from the provisions of the Criminal Procedure came to a decision where he decided that five people were to be detained on remand for 30 days and the other two persons – under house arrest, ” said a statement from the court.
As the Ministry of Interior stated earlier, the suspects acted as collaborators and logistical operators with the criminal-terrorist group in Divo Naselje in Kumanovo, but did not participate directly in the attacks of the 9th and of the 10th of May.
