Parliamentary political parties, during today’s coordination, in Parliament agreed that the president of the Commission for Elections and Appointments will be someone from the benches of the VMRO-DPMNE party, and they will resume talks at the constitutive session in Parliament on Monday.
The Coordinator of the parliamentary group from VMRO-DPMNE, Ilija Dimovski said that the name will be revealed later on in the day.
However, sources from VMRO-DPMNE have already confirmed to some of the media that Ilija Dimovski will most probably be president of the Commission.
On Monday, the only point on the agenda that Parliament needs to decide is the composition of the Commision for Elections and Appointments, and they will not be electing the president of Parliament.
The Secretary General of SDSM, MP Oliver Spasovski said that they had accepted that the president of the Commision will be from VMRO-DPMNE, to unblock the processes in the country.
