At four o’clock this morning the negotiations between the working groups of the Przhino Agreement came to an end; this time with no success. Despite the Belgian mediator Peter Vanhoutte’s last minute optimism, it was reported that talks continued late into the night, in an extremely tense atmosphere.
According to unofficial information, because of the constant congestion, negotiations are expected however, it will be done through the European Union’s representatives who will hand them an already written text on the electoral legislation.
This morning, reactions were of discontent. The Head of the EU Delegation to Macedonia, Ambassador Aivo Orav gave a brief statement to “Plusinfo”;
“I am very disappointed that they undertook a deal to come to an agreement by October the 6th , and the leaders did not abide by it”.
