Buses and taxis transport migrants from Gevgelija to Tabanovce because of the strike by drivers from “Macedonian Railways”.
Latest news says from the train station in Gevgelija, 2,000 migrants left on special trains, while the remaining 4,000 migrants in the camp went with buses and taxis.
According to estimates, in the course of the day, 5,000 – 6,000 refugees are expected to come through the country.
Since the beginning of the month the Red Cross said it was distributing 4,000 bottles of water, 500 food parcels, 100 hygiene kits, 50 baby packages and 300 blankets. During this time they had also performed 2,000 medical interventions.
