More than 3,000 people from Bitola went on the road to Skopje to support the opposition gathering. The long row from Bitola contains 19 buses, 14 minibuses and 300 cars filled with Bitola citizens who will support the gathering in Skopje.
None of Bitola carriers wanted to drive for the opposition. Under the pretext of severe hardship and strong pressures, the last bus carrier gave up last night. So tonight, Bitola Social Democrats barely managed to hire 19 buses from Tetovo, Kicevo and Negotino.
MP and leader of the Social Democrats Bitola Vasko Kovacevski for META confirmed that more than 3,000 people from Bitola are on their way to Skopje, the row is before Pletvar and so far there are no problems.
– Despite all the difficulties we had to face these days in the organization to transport Bitola citizens the gathering in Skopje, we managed. This shows that Bitola has opposition sentiment and citizens are strongly motivated to say “no” to this government – said Kovacevski.
It is expected to arrive more than 3,000 citizens from Prilep to the gathering in Skopje. They will arrive with more than 300 cars, and 1 transport with buses and vans was also organized for 1.500 people. A large part of Prilep citizens who will come or already arrived in Skopje to support the opposition gathering without organized transportation.
