We should respect the presumption of innocence and leave legal institutions to decide whether someone is innocent or not, said the vice-prime minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Poposki, VMRO-DPMNE’s list carrier in the first electoral district, in the Radio Slobodna Evropa’s weekly interview when he replied to a question how will crime suspects from his party can promise an uncompromising fight against crime.
-For questions regarding who will end up in jail, the only institution that is legitimate and authorized to answer that is the judiciary in Macedonia and I think that for that question it is best that the judiciary within the legal procedures will decide who will en up where. We think that as a government we have the responsibility to bring laws and we try to implement those laws, something we have been doing continuously in the past period.
