The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Poposki commented on Great Britain’s exit from the European Union, saying that with Brexit, the EU has lost a valuable member state, reports “Press24”.

“For the Balkans and Macedonia, we have lost a supporter of the enlargement of the Union. It is obvious that we need to listen to the remarks from those who appreciate that there is a democratic deficit in some of the political decisions Europe makes. In Macedonia, we should continue to do what is in our interest, and what is good for us, to be competitive and to be included in the richest common market in the world, thereby creating better job opportunities and the standard of living for Macedonian citizens”, said Poposki.
