At today’s debate on Macedonia’s plans for membership in the North Atlantic Alliance after the summit in the UK, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Poposki, said that Macedonia will apply for membership for the 16th time at the end of the month.
– It is a precedent. No country has ever applied for NATO membership for 16 years in a row – says Poposki.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs thinks that Greece is currently not interested for resolving the name dispute and for negotiations.
