Political parties still considering new proposals

-

Political parties signatory to the Pržino Agreement are expected to reach a final agreement in negotiations on forming a transitional government and preparations for early parliamentary elections this week.

The SDSM said that their position remains the same and that still do not know if there will be a meeting between the parties and the international community tomorrow.

“The SDSM position remains the same, unchanged. We expect at some point tomorrow that we’ll have more information from our international partners that the negotiations will continue tomorrow. I hope that an agreement will be reached after the other participants have had time to think this process through, especially the VMRO-DPMNE”, said Ljupco Nikolovski, an executive board member of the SDSM when answering questions from the media at a press conference.

Nikolovski added that inter-party consultations are still ongoing and would not comment exactly where and why talks stopped last week.
