The State Election Commission yesterday reviewed the candidate lists of political parties and coalitions, and gave some of them 48 hours to correct any shortcomings.
The SEC stated, the majority of their remarks are related to missing bank account details for the election campaign, certificates of proof stating that candidates have no criminal records, statements and copies of identity cards of the candidates, etc. Most the Commission’s objections were for the lists of the Social Democratic Party of Macedonia, which submitted a list with names similar to candidates of other parties.
On November 20, the schedule of candidate lists will be determined by a draw on the ballot for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for December 11.
