Applause and cheers in support of the protest outside the SPP

-

Several dozens of citizens gathered today at 18:00 in front of the premises of the Special Prosecutor’s Office to express support for the work of the institution.

The gathering was a reaction to President Gjorge Ivanov decision to grant amnesty and pardon all politicians who are under preliminary investigations, those involved in court proceedings and those who have at present legally binding court decisions.

While citizens gathered to give support, while Special Prosecutors’ Katica Janeva, Fatime Fetai and Lence Ristovska left the building, citizens clapped, cheered and chanted their names in support.

Citizens then headed towards President Ivanov’s Office in the center of the city while shouting “Murderers, murderers”, “No justice- no peace” and “Mafia in prison”.
