During today’s press conference the Vice Prime Minister for European Affairs Bujar Osmani has requested complete support for the judicial organs in order to achieve a quick, efficient and transparent procedure who also stressed that it will allow a return of the trust in the institutions and the rule of law.
Osmani stressed that what remains is two months of key EU meetings during which a confirmation for the start of negotiations is expected. He appealed to all minor Albanian political parties not to use the Racket case for day to day political bickering.
-The cheap misuse of the Racket case is an expression of immaturity and irresponsibility, and is jeopardizing our position as a serious country among our international partners – said Osmani.
he also said that the efficient fight against organized crime and corruption including the strengthening of the rule of law and the basic European values for which the EU countries have a low threshold of tolerance.
