Osmani is commencing with regular consultations with ambassadors of the Western Balkans countries

The VP for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani has held today the first meeting with ambassadors from countries of the Western Balkans, that will be an introduction in continuous coordinative meetings. At the meeting that took place at the Secretariat for European Affairs (SEA) representatives from Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo, Serbia, and Montenegro took part in.

During the meeting there were discussions concerning a regional cooperation between the countries of the Western Balkans and there was an exchange of experiences and opinions of the ways that could contribute to increasing these countries’ capacities for a greater absorbing power for the use of the IPA funds, including the eventual consequences on the IPA foundations by decreasing the budget of the European Union after the Brexit process ends.

After the meetings, VP Osmani stressed that in the forthcoming period the Government will focus on the name dispute issue in order to speed up the Euro-integrations. He announced that he will embark on a visit today to Germany, and this month he will visit Athens. As part of the new government’s offensive for solving the name dispute is the visit of the Head of the Greek diplomacy, Nikos Kotsias in Skopje, said Osmani.
