Osmani: Government has adopted the Frontex agreement, ready to sign it

Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bujar Osmani together with the Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi met with Dimitris Avramopoulos, European Commissioner for Migration and Internal Affairs in Brussels, who presented the contents of the new reform plan “18” with emphasis on the migration part , the promotion of cooperation with Frontex.

“I carry good news from Skopje. Yesterday, the Government accepted the decision adopting the text of the agreement between the Republic of Macedonia and the European Union, which regulates the status of the border services and the cooperation with European border authorities – Frontex”, Osmani said at a meeting, sending an open invitation to EU Commissioner Avramopoulos for a visit to the country at which to sign and formalize this agreement.

Osmani informed the EU Commissioner of the new plan “18” and expressed hope that he will have a successful outcome from the June summits of the European Union, with a decision that will establish the Euro-Atlantic future of Macedonia.
