The Election Day happened went well and if there are complaints, the institutions and the state will have to deal with them, as was said by the OSCE’s special representative, Roberto Battelli, during the presentation of the preliminary results concerning the election process.
In the joint statement issued by the international observers, it is stressed that the citizens have understood the importance and the role of the elections and that the politicians should grasp the opportunity to deal with the political crisis.
In the conclusions about the election process, it is stated that SEC did not manage to meet all the deadlines and to carry out all the necessary changes because there were registered cases of people that were erased from the election roll.
Replying to a question posted by a journalist how they would mark realistically the elections because of the different reports by the political parties, Battelli said that the elections went well, but that the state will have to strengthen the institutions and to solve its problems by itself. It shouldn’t ask continuously for help from abroad in dealing with inner crises and problems.
