Only 38 percent of the citizens trust the judiciary (infographic)

Only 38 percent of the citizens of the country believe in the justice system, according to a poll conducted by the International Republican Institute (IRI).

Asked how much they believe in the work of the judiciary, only four percent of those surveyed in North Macedonia and nine percent of the surveyed in the EU said that that they completely trust, while that “somewhat trust” responded 34 percent of the citizens of this country and 41 percent of the citizens of the EU.

Up to 62 percent of the surveyed in Macedonia and 50 percent from the citizens of the EU responded that they do not trust the work of the justice system. In addition, 28 percent of the citizens of North Macedonia and 34 percent of those surveyed from the EU said that they do not trust, while 34 percent in Macedonia and 16 percent in the EU said that “they do not trust the judicial system at all”.
