The Public Prosecutor’s Office, despite the expiry of the deadline, have appealed the decision made by the judge from the previous court proceedings to declare the evidence recordings of intercepted conversations released by the opposition as invalid.
Basic Court Skopje 1 today announced that the Public Prosecutor’s Office appealed against “21 decisions from the preliminary procedure where the judge decided to separate the evidence from the records of objects of Public Prosecutions.”
The court have announced that appeals had already been submitted to the lawyers of the suspects in the cases in, where answers should be given within the legal deadline, then the complaints will be sent to the Skopje Court of Appeal, which is competent to resolve the matter under Article 93 of the Criminal Law proceedings.
Otherwise, as previously said by the public prosecutor’s office, opposition proceedings were initiated on a total of 27 items.
