Gruevski’s Security Detail Bursts into TV21 to Delete Photos

-

Members of the former Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski’s security detail broke into the “21TV” television station and demanded that one of their journalists hand over photographs he had taken of the head of the ruling party walking down the street, says the television station.

An article from “TV21” stated that the journalist saw the former Prime Minister walking around the city and tried to take photos of him with his mobile telephone. The former PM’s security immediately intervened, and without permission they burst into the courtyard of the television. They took the phone from the journalist and deleted the photos.

A member of the security detail identified himself with a badge from the Ministry of Interior (MOI), and then asked the journalist for his ID card.

The television station has called on the VMRO-DPMNE and the Ministry of Interior to come clean about the incident, also adding that the former Prime Minister is a public figure, and the public has every right to know what he does, and how he behaves.
