From today, there will be no Macedonian or Serbian music on radio stations.
The ban on broadcasting Serbian music will begin tonight at midnight, and for ten days now, Macedonian music has already been prohibited.
The only exception from the ban by the Association for the Protection of Copyright and Music Rights (ZAMP) and the Organization of Serbian Music Authors, SOKOJ, as the Association of Private Media in Macedonia (ZPMM) stated, will be musical shows from Serbia, which Macedonian television stations have already bought the rights to, are “Stars of Grand” and “Pink Stars.”
Due to the broadcasting ban on Macedonian music, “Folk-Fest Valandovo”, the oldest festival of Macedonian composed songs this weekend has been cancelled.
