The Health Ministry of North Macedonia informs that in the past 24 hours 2 596 tests were done and 603 new cases of COVID-19 were discovered in the country.
The highest number of the new cases are from the capital Skopje – 209, and the city with second highest number of new infections is Kumanovo, with 62 new cases, followed by Strumica with 39 and Bitola with 38 new cases.
In the same 24-hour period, 641 patients recovered and 39 patients died. 18 of the deceased patients were from Skopje.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 149 221 people tested positive and the number of the patients who recovered is 126 234 and the death toll is 4 595. The number of the active cases is 18 392.
