The Health Ministry of North Macedonia informs that in the past 24 hours, from the 5 276 conducted tests, 164 new cases of COVID-19 were discovered.

This number is more than four times bigger than the one from yesterday (37), and more than three times more than the day before (54)

The highest number of the new cases are from Tetovo – 60, and the city with second highest number of new infections is the capital, Skopje, with 34 new cases, followed by Gostivar with 21, then Kumanovo and Bitola with 8 each, Kichevo and Debar with 5 each, Shtip and Kochani with 4 eachs, then Prilep and Struga with 3 each, Berovo with 2 new cases, and Ohrid and Pehchevo with one new case each.

In the same 24-hour period, 18 patients recovered and three patients died. Three of the patients were from Gostivar (aged 68 and 86) and one from Skopje.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 156 7072 people tested positive and the number of the patients who recovered is 150 440. The death toll is 5 497. The number of the active cases is 770.
