Former Foreign Minister and current MP Antonio Miloshoski on his Twitter profile in a tweet called Germans “Swabians”, to which another Twitter user asked him whether it befits him as a former minister:
Message to Swabians: “Spend your summer in Greece; your money are already there anyways!”

@jovanatozija @AMiloshoski, as former Foreign Minister of the Republic of Macedonia, do you think that it befits you to call Germans as Swabians? – Ari (zlatniotari) July 6, 2015
Otherwise, Miloshoski is a German scholarship recipient, he attended MA in European Integration from 2001 to 2002 at the “Friedrich Wilhelm” University in Bonn, for which he received a scholarship from the German Ministry of Education.
Since November 2002, he is a Doctor of Political Sciences of the University “Gerhard Mercator” in Duisburg, Germany, where he worked as a research cooperator until 2006, when he was elected MP.
Miloshoski is also a member of “Sudosteuropa Geselshaft” German Academic Society dealing with the political and economic situation in Southeast Europe.
Although the origin of the phrase is from the German province of Swabia, the former Yugoslav areas, especially after World War II, it is used only in a derogatory and humiliating form associated with the term “cockroach”.
In the past few days, Miloshoski is especially active on Twitter, where he posts tweets related to the crisis in Greece, which has irritated Macedonian tweeters who wrote him interesting reactions.
Two days ago he wrote:
Typical German family: father, mother, two children, a dog and a Greek pensioner!
