The average monthly net wage per employee in July 2015, compared to July 2014 has increased by 2.4 percent and amounts to 21 861 denars or 355 EUR, reports the State Statistical Office.
This increase of 11 percent is due primarily to the increase in the average monthly net wage per employee in the sectors of arts, entertainment and recreation, other services – 9.9 percent, and mining and quarrying – 4.6 percent.
A decrease in the average monthly net wage per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sector of arts, entertainment and recreation by 10.2 percent, wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 4.2 percent, and in public administration and defense, compulsory social insurance – 4.2 percent.
In July, 2015, 1.7 percent of employees in Macedonia did not receive their salary.
