Through UEFA “Hat-trick 4” program, city stadium in Tetovo will get a new image. The reconstruction will begin by the end of this month and will end in June this year.
– Tetovo is one of the major football centers in Macedonia. After Bitola, this is the second municipality with which we signed an agreement that provides for the renovation of the stadium, which means a complete reconstruction of the ground drainage system according to international standards and lighting for night matches. Through this program, the municipality has a duty to install 5,000 seats, to cover one of the stands and to reconstruct the changing rooms. After 30 years, Tetovo will get a modern stadium – said Ilcho Georgievski, President of the Football Federation of Macedonia
Around 800,000 euros will be spent on the project. Three Tetovo football clubs are performing in the first Macedonian football league.
