Today’s construction of the fourth suspect in the scandal “Puch” Zoran Zaev confirms the suspicions that the main objective of the agents’ network and others involved in the case, is the destruction of the institutions and the security system of the Republic of Macedonia, reads the statement from the Ministry of Interior after the press conference of SDSM leader.
MOI indicated that suspects for scandal “Puch” expect weakening of capacities and opening of free space for the realization of their scenarios for demolition of the free will of citizens.
“The whole community today witnessed the attempted direct involvement of official institutions and services from friendly countries that on numerous occasions have proven their closeness with the Republic of Macedonia. In order not to allow the public to be manipulated, we want to emphasize that what was announced today is a donation of equipment, not for monitoring of communications, but equipment for members of the special units of the Ministry of Interior,” reads the statement.
In the statement is added that MOI received assistance worth 5,557,377 euros.
“It is over 5.5 million euros of foreign money, aid for better efficiency of special units. All this is covered with a formal agreement for the donation which is classified with the highest level as a state secret. With today’s performance, the fourth suspect in the scandal “Puch” proved that he is against greater efficiency and greater personal safety of police special forces,” reads the statement.
In the statement, MOI also apologized to the Israeli Ministry of Defense for today released information on the press conference of SDSM.
– Ministry of Interior wants to publicly apologize to the Israeli Ministry of Defense for today’s shameful performance of the fourth suspect and expresses confidence that the views of these people are not the official position of the Republic of Macedonia. We hope that close relations and cooperation will continue at the highest level in the future as well,” reads the statement.
