Hashim F. (83) of Shipkovica, A.M. (14) of Shipkovica and two minors aged seven and one, also from Shipkovica, lost their lives in the terrible storms that caught the region around Tetovo yesterday, inform from the Ministry of Interior (MVR).
According to the Ministry, the bodies of Hashim F., A. M. and the year old infant, were found in Shipkovica, while the body of the seven year old was recovered in Golema Rechica.
MVR reports that a girl aged six, from Shipkovica, and R. J. (61) from the village Lisec, are missing.
During yesterdays storm, eleven people have suffered serious injuries, most of which are from Shipkovica, Selce, Dzepchishte and Mala Rechica.
Some of them are staying at the Tetovo hospital for close monitoring. The rest have been released for home care.
The storm caused the overflowing of several rivers on the foothills of Shar Planina. Residents have suffered severe material damages on their properties.
