Ministry of Interior released a statement responding to today’s press conference of the SDSM leader, saying that the documents presented today by Zaev concerning tapped and monitored journalists are just a lie, not documents of the Security and Intelligence Service (UBK).
“During the current leadership, Ministry of Interior and UBK never illegally monitored nor analyzed journalists. We fully respected the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Macedonia and we have worked in accordance with them. We strongly deny all exported defamatory published today by the fourth suspect Zoran Zaev,” reads a statement of MOI.
At the end of the press release it is stated that the outcome of the case “Puch” began with today’s verdict for one of the suspects.
