Today, at the 15th continuation of the constitutive session of Parliament, MPs from VMRO-DPMNE again led the debate between themselves. Instead of discussing the items on the agenda – the election of the president and members for the Commission of Elections and Appointments, MPs from VMRO-DPMNE through addresses, remarks and counter remarks, mostly written,again discussed the platform of the Albanian political parties.
Ilija Dimovski from VMRO-DPMNE said that before moving on to the next procedure, in Parliament, it is essential to receive an answer on what has been agreed between SDSM and DUI and asked for all documents to be made public.
Surija Rashidi from the Albanian Alliance said that the joint declaration of the Albanian political parties does not harm the national interests of Macedonia.
“I am trying to understand which national interests are endangered by the platform of the Albanian political parties, as you say. This declaration contributes to the stabilization of the country. This declaration does not threaten the Macedonian language, nor culture, religion or identity. With regret, I must say that you are not interested in the strategic interests of Macedonia, but you are interested in the interests of your leader and his close relative”, said Rashidi.
At today’s continuation of the constitutive session of Parliament, MPs from SDSM did not register any addresses or procedural objections.
The session resumes at 15:00 pm after the lunch break.
