Nearly a million euros have been spent by the previous government for the purchase of two LED display, Pece Mirceski, the Director of the Service for General and Common Affairs, told the press today.

“What was the need for someone to purchase LED screens for nearly a million euros, in conditions when Macedonia was in a total economic and social crisis”, he asked.

According to existing documentation, the first of these two purchases was for a LED display that was intended for the front of the new building of the Faculty of Drama Arts. It was built in 2015, and 340.000 euros were spent for the display.

The second contract was concluded in 2016, for a purchase of a LED screen for outdoor use, which was placed at the ASNOM palace.  650,000 euros were spent for this display.
