Yesterday, the Ministry of Justice announced the Referendum draft-bill at the Single National Electronic Registry of Regulations of Republic of Macedonia(ENER), and today it withdrew it after the media began publishing that it doesn’t plan a public debate and a very short deadline was set – by the end of the month.
This afternoon, the Ministry of Justice announced that the decision that was published ” didn’t change the essence of the Referendum Bill, but an adjustment of the terminology with other bills” such as the Election Code and certain outdated decisions were being left about. The new draft-bill also had the purpose of adjustment to the Law on Courts.
The Ministry did state when the updated version of the Referendum draft bill will be published.
