The Minister of Culture, Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska met with the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Macedonia, Wouter Plomp, where they talked about how to deepen cooperation between the two countries through even more of an increase in the exchange of experts, artists and projects.
Minister Kanceva-Milevska said the meeting reminded her of the steady cooperation with the Kingdom of the Netherlands has had with Macedonia, and has continuously promoted and supported Macedonian culture in this country, but there is also a significant number of contents, that is of Dutch culture and is represented here in the country.
Both interlocutors welcomed the successful cooperation between the institutions in the field of art and culture and between the two countries, and there was emphasis of the implementation of projects among national libraries in Skopje and Amsterdam, as well as the exchange of experts and artists in the field of contemporary dance and various creative industries.
They stressed the importance of the Center for Design and Innovation “Public Room”, which has exceptional cooperation with experts from the Netherlands, who are leaders in their field for creative industries.
